Category Managers

Setting a category manager allows a non-admin to have all ticket-related privileges for a specific category.

Note

Users designated as an admin cannot be a manager for a category.

Setting a Category Manager

To select a manager for a category, go to the "Categories" menu.  For each category, there will be a dropdown allowing the user to select the manager. When selecting the manager, the following is done:

  1. The user is designated as the manager for the specific category
  2. The user is given access to the category if they do not already have access
  3. If an existing user was manager, the old user will no longer have all ticket-related privileges. 

Note

If a previous user was manager of a category, they will still have access to that category. You must manually revoke their access if they should no longer have access to the category.
